Lab Components

The communications network portion of the lab consists of the following equipment:

Cisco Routers

	2811 with 2 Serial and 2 Fast Ethernet
	2811 with 4 Serial and 2 Fast Ethernet
	2651XM with 2 Fast Ethernet and WIC 1T
	2651XM with 2 Fast Ethernet and WIC 1T
	2620XM with 2 Serial, 1 Fast Ethernet and FXO
	2620 With 2 Serials and 1 Fast Ethernet
	2620 With 2 VoIP FXS interfaces, 2 Serial 1 Fast Ethernet
	2503 1 BRI 2 Serials 1 Ethernet
	2504 1 BRI 2 Serials 1 Ethernet
	4500M 8 serials 2 Ethernet interfaces (Frame-Relay switch)
	Older 2500 series routes are available for larger network sizes

All routers are loaded with the maximum of flash and system memory.

Cisco Switches

	One Catalyst 6503 with a Supervisor WS-X6K-S2-MSFC2 PFC3 in Native mode and a WS-X6348 module for 48 Fast Ethernet ports. This switch can be used for high level MPLS Core and QoS testing
	One Catalyst 3750 with 24 port (Power over Ethernet) Fast Ethernet ports and 2 SFP gigabit interfaces with EMI software loaded

One Catalyst 3550 24 port Fast Ethernet plus active Gigabit interfaces with EMI software loaded

One Catalyst 5505 with a Supervisor III module and NFFC II for MLS and Ether channeling plus a 24 port 10/100Tx Ethernet module

The Catalyst 5505 is available for legacy applications, migration testing and learning purposes only and is not online in the lab(by request only).

	1 Cisco Aironet 1232AG - Wireless access point - 802.11b, 802.11a, 802.11g - great for LWAPP and WLC testing when available
	Metageek's Wi-Spy Spectrum Analyzer
	TamoSoft CommView for Wifi - 802.11a/b/g/n protocol analyzer

Older Legacy Wireless

	1 Cisco/Linksys WRT54G - Wireless access point and router
	1 Asus WL-500g 802.11b/g Wireless access point and router
	1 Proxim AP 2500 Dual radio hot spot in a box access point
	1 Aerocomm SA-3000 2.4Ghz Spectrum Analyzer
	1 Network Chemistry/Neutrino RF Protect Distributed Wireless IDS

	Asynchronous Modems for Async. routing and POTS access for POTS dial routing
	AT&T CSU/DSUs (Future access to these units so you can learn how to configure AT&T CSU's for example, from AMI to B8ZS)

Lab components are added and removed periodically from upgrades and special requests to keep the lab as current and relevant to industry trends.
